    Alice worked in laundry in Flint.  Left work and met Maurice in Detroit without telling her parents.  Did not see parents for several months after leaving home.   Father threatened with shotgun when Alice returned to Flint for her clothes.
    1924 Married Maurice Boyer in Grosse Pointe, MI.
    Patents moved to Detroit in 1929.  Father left mines and was on welfare in Flint and Detroit.  He had an ulcerated leg which wouldn't heal.
