About 1908, he brought the family to Inkster & Beverly Road in Taylor. He later bought land on the Romulus side of Inkster Road. Bought farm land in Romulus from George & Carrie Gordanier, March 17, 1909; Liber 739, Page 276, Deeds.

Upon his death property divided as follows:
* Emma Liverence received 4 1/2 acers with the new house on the southwest corner of Inkster and Beverly Roads.
* George Liverence received 7 1/2 acers directly south of Emma. His share had the old homestead, barn and grainery.
* Edward Liverence received the next 12 acres of open farm land.
* Harold Thiede (Edith) received the next 4 acres of open farm land.
* Mabel Wenzel (Sophia) received the next 12 acres of open farm land.
* Walter Liverence received 12 acres of open farm land on the southeast corner of Inkster & Beverly Road. He later sold the corner lots to the church.
* Harold Thiede received the remaining 8 acres of open farm land south of Walter's share.
