- Raymond W. Boyer, 73, Ironwood, Mich., died Saturday, Dec. 22, 1990 as a result of a three vehicle accident in Ironwood. He was born in Ironwood, atteded the St. Ambrose School and graduated from Luther L. Wrigth High School in 1935. He was in the Civillan Conservation Corps from 1935 to 1936. He was an Army veteran of World War II and received three Bronze Stars for the Sorthern France, Rhineland and Rome-Arno campaigns. He worked for Boyers Service Station, Ironwood, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the Ironwood Knights of Columbus, Ironwood American Legion Post No. 5, Ironwood VFW Post No. 1823 and Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Ironwood. He is survived by two sisters. Dorothy Boyer of Marquette, Mich., and Jeanette Legg of Columbus, Ohio. Service were held in Ironwood where burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements were by McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, Ironwood.
